Are You Prepared For A Lego Printer
I readily admit that we at Microsupply did not create this lego printer, or the video either - but having found it in amongst the delights of You Tube, once we were properly recovered from it's mighty impressive movements - we felt it was understandable to share it via the blog with others - who may have missed it when it came out last year.
Some young genius engineering lego fan created this output device in three weeks worth of spare evenings - he "designed/built/coded it all from scratch including analog motor electronics, sensors and printer driver, the USB interface uses a "wiring" board."
And whilst it's output isn't wildly speedy - perhaps one page an hour and has a dpi of 75 - we were still truly wowed by this video !
